If you’re fluent in JavaScript and comfortable working server-side, this role offers the opportunity to build high-performance systems that power real-world platforms. We typically look for candidates with a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience, and a strong track record delivering backend services in Node.js.
Develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Node.js and modern frameworks such as Express, NestJS, or Koa.
Design and build RESTful APIs and real-time communication features with technologies like WebSockets or Socket.io.
Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver complete and functional solutions.
Handle asynchronous data processing and concurrent request handling with efficiency and precision.
Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning across various environments.
Integrate Node.js applications with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redis.
Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve product quality and development workflow.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s shared knowledge base and code reviews.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in backend development using Node.js in a production environment.
Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and asynchronous programming patterns.
Experience with popular Node.js frameworks (Express, NestJS, Koa) and libraries (Socket.io, JWT, etc.).
Familiarity with microservices architecture and building scalable distributed systems.
Proficiency with database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redis.
Understanding of modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Comfortable working with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to articulate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
